Anthony Thornburg, Principal

Anthony has been involved in the San Diego finance community since 1998. His prior professional services experience includes both a Fortune 500 firm and one ranked at the top of Inc. Magazine's list of the fastest growing companies in America. His human capital experience includes both executive search and interim staffing.  He holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from Michigan State University.


Jeffrey Litteken, Principal

Jeff has been involved in the San Diego finance community since 1996 and has specialized in the contract, contract-to-hire, search and placement of finance and accounting professionals. His prior experience in corporate accounting gives him an excellent technical knowledge of the business. He holds a Bachelor's degree from Miami (Ohio) University with a dual major in Accounting and Finance.


Josh Hale, Managing Associate, Consullting Practice

Josh has been active in the recruiting and staffing industry since 2004. He has worked exclusively placing finance and accounting professionals. He specializes in consulting and project engagements. A native San Diegan, Mr. Hale earned his bachelor’s degree from UCSD and holds a Certified Staffing Professional and California Accredited Consultant designations.


Shay Southworth, Senior Associate

Shay specializes in consulting and interim staff augmentation.  She has been involved in the staffing and recruiting industry in the San Diego market since 1994.  Her experience includes placement of accounting and finance professionals on a contract, contract to hire and direct hire basis.  Ms. Southworth holds both a Certified Staffing Professional and California Accredited Consultant designations. 


Alan Theodore, Associate (Recruiter)

Prior to entering the human capital industry Alan built a progressive career in the corporate FP&A world.  His 15 years of corporate Finance and Human Resources experience lend to his expertise in heading up the Consulting Practice’s recruitment activities here at General Ledger Resources.  Mr. Theodore holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from California State University, Long Beach and a Human Resources management Certificate from California State University, San Marcos. 

Sean McWhorter, Associate

Sean combines his search industry experience with a corporate finance background where he previously worked as a bond rating analyst at Standard & Poor’s.  He has specialized in finance and accounting search and placement in San Diego since 2009.  His experience also includes positions at several Fortune 500 companies including Bayer Corp and Merck & Co., Inc.    Sean holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.


Jamie Gray, Associate (Recruiter)

Jamie helps lead GLR's candidate recruiting efforts for interim staff and project engagements.  Her prior business experience includes leadership roles at JMC Data Solutoins and Ashford University where she helped spearhead student enrollment.  Jamie has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from UC Santa Barbara and is a San Diego native.
